Giving Back
Lee Dental Care team has created a giving office culture by donating their time, skill, and resources to those who cannot afford dentistry.
Our Teams came together to hold Dentistry From the Heart for five consecutive years from 2015 through 2019. In 2021, we held a Day of Free Dentistry for Veterans.
In 2022, Dr. Paul founded Smiles for the Community (SFTC), a non-profit organization devoted to sponsoring Free Dental Care Days. Each November, the SFTC Free Dental Care Day is held at our Fort Myers office. Along with the teams from our Blue Sea Dental group sister practices, we offer patients their choice of a free filling, cleaning, or extraction. These events have grown each year. At our most recent event, we treated 300+ patients and donated over $100K in free dental care.

In addition the our yearly free dental days, Dr. Uliasz and other Lee Dental Care team members have participated in FLA-MOM, the Florida Mission of Mercy, a two-day, professional dental clinic that provides care to any patient at no cost to them, with the goal of serving the under-served and uninsured in Florida.
On a global level, Dr. Uliasz has traveled to the Dominican Republic on mission trips where, together with other dentists, he has performed surgeries and bone grafts, placed implants, and helped many patients restore their teeth.
The practice and its team members also donate to various local, national, and international charitable and environmental causes throughout the year. Some examples include relief efforts for areas affected by disasters, WaterServe (dedicated to improving water access in Africa), 4Ocean (dedicated to cleaning our oceans), the Annual 5K for Head & Neck Cancer, PPE donations to the Red Cross during the height of the COVID crisis, and the Annual Gulf Coast Giving Tree, among many others.
