Zoom! Teeth Whitening

Have you been thinking about whitening your teeth? There are so many different options available it can be hard to decide on the best option for you. While over-the-counter treatments are inexpensive, they do not offer the same results as the treatments offered at your dentist’s office. In fact, they can end up costing the same as a professional whitening over time without the same level of whitening.

Lee Dental Care offers in-office and take-home whitening with Philips Zoom tooth whitening.  With Zoom you can have teeth that are up to 6 to 10 shades whiter in just one visit!

Zoom in-office can whiten your smile up to 8 shades brighter in only 45 minutes. And we offer the Zoom Pen or Zoom take-home whitening kits to help you keep your professional results longer.

Zoom whitening uses prescription strength 25% whitening gel along with a special activating light. The light enables Zoom to not only removes surface stains but enter the tooth enamel and dentin to whiten under-the-surface stains. This is how Zoom produces great results in as little as 45 minutes.

Zoom only works on natural teeth; it will not whiten crowns, veneers, fillings, or dentures.

What Can I Expect During Treatment?

  • Your lips and gums will be covered, leaving the teeth exposed.
  • Zoom hydrogen peroxide whitening gel is applied to your teeth
  • The gel remains in place for 15 minutes while the light is activated.
  • The gel is applied for three 15-minute sessions of light activation, for a total treatment time of 45 minutes.

What Can I Expect After Treatment?

Some people experience tooth sensitivity for anywhere from one to two days after treatment. You will be advised to avoid certain tooth-staining foods and drinks for up to 72 hours after your treatment to ensure the best result.

You can maintain your results by using the Zoom Whitening Pen or a Zoom take-home Whitening Kit.

Zoom Whitening at Home

To ensure you have a safe and comfortable experience, all our tooth whitening treatments start with a consultation with your dentist or hygienist. They will recommend the best whitening plan for your teeth and answer any questions you may have. In this way you can safely and effectively whiten your smile at home.

The Zoom Pen

The Zoom! Whitening Pen is an easy way to maintain your Zoom!! smile at work, or home, or on the go. They are easy to use. You just click the bottom of the pen to release the whitening gel and apply on your teeth like nail polish. That’s all there is to it! You should avoid eating and drinking for 30 minutes after application.

Zoom At-Home Whitening Kits

If a Zoom At-Home kit is prescribed, we will make you a customized tray that fits perfectly to your teeth and gum line, so you get safe and effective results. On your next visit, you will receive your trays and can begin your at-home whitening.

Zoom offers options to suit your lifestyle, DayWhite, which requires wearing trays for 30 to 90 minutes per whitening session or NightWhite, which can be used overnight. Each of these comes in different strengths for an in-home whitening solution customized to your unique needs.

Your dentist will advise you on which at-home option is most appropriate for your needs and whitening goals as well as how often you should whiten at home.
